Festy Thuwed The Abandoned

Day 1 / I found a dragon egg. It was there, shining bright green through the hay just outside of the barn. I saw it when I started my day and was on my way to see my sheep. My sheep ! I rushed into the barn, looked around, certain I would find a slaughter. I found them huddled together, all six of them, silent, just like they did before a wolf attack. But they were safe, untouched. Was the mother dragon still close ? I went outside to pick up the egg. I knew I shouldn't touch it but I didn't want the mother to come back. I had to take that egg far from here. But when my hand felt the warmth of the shell, I saw a cave. A feeling of déjà vu. A quiet feeling. No, the mother was not coming back. This egg had been left here for me to find. When I looked at it, the dragon inside spoke to me. It didn't form words. Again, it was just a feeling. But I found out that this dragon was of fine lineage and it was pleading for me to take care of it.

Archaius Greenbloom The Forsaken

Day 2 / The next day, I found another egg. I looked around me. So the mother dragon did come back after all and was probably still there. She surely saw how I took the first egg with me and kept it warm. I left it on the windowsill in a basket full of wool waiting to be carded. The sunlight was shining through the window and the egg bathed in it the whole afternoon. When I came back from my day's work, the egg was slightly moving. I was under the clear impression that the dragon was happy.
I collected the new egg that had been left in the hay for me. This time the vision was more clear. I saw this huge cave again. It was empty but a red glow was coming from deeper into the cave. The feeling that was conveying to me was one of urgency. I had to find this cave.

Day 3 / I left the two eggs I found in the wool basket and went out to find the cave. I knew of a few dragon caves in the mountains but I was drawn to the forest by the entity who gave me those visions. Surprisingly, I knew exactly where I had to go and it lead me very far from the road. The forest was thick but soon a path was starting to show, the moss had been flattened, the trees were bent. I followed this dragon made track for half an hour when I saw a black mass. I came closer. It was a hatchling. It was exhausted, breathing heavily. It was curled up around an egg. Was it this dragon that had been leaving me those eggs ? With great difficulties, I took the egg and the hatchling and started the return to my cottage, carrying the hatchling on my back and the egg in my arms. To my great relief, the hatchling woke up after a while and without the weight of the egg to carry was able to walk alonside me for the rest of the way home.

Day 4.1 / The three eggs that had been given to me were safe in the wool baskets by the window. At night, I had left them by the fire and I think they loved it. The black hatchling however was very weak and sick. I fed it apples. It probably would have prefered some meat but it ate the red fruits with appetite nonetheless. Through the weird connection I had with dragons, I tried to tell him to rest and not to worry, I would find the cave. It looked at me with sad green glowing eyes and curled up by the fire I was keeping alight for them even though it was summer. I went into the forest again and followed the dragon made path. It led me to a glade, not far from where I'd found the black hatchling. The cave was there. Two huge spiky rocks coming from the ground and colliding at the top made the entrance. Inside, I was not ready for what I would find. Four dead adult dragons seemed to have been guarding an enormous tunnel that had been dug, sheltered by this rock-roof. The red glow I saw in the vision but fainter was still shining from down the tunnel.
